What is the e-visa?
E-visa is a tourist Visa that is granted to a Foreigner through an online portal. Who wish to visit India for recreation, sightseeing, a casual visit to meet friends and relatives, or attend a short-term yoga program. On a Tourist Visa, no other activity/purpose is permitted. Continuous stay during each visit on the e-visa shall not exceed 90 days for nationals of all countries except the USA, UK, Canada, and Japan, for whom continuous stay during each visit shall not exceed 180 days.
