A Thailand sticker visa is a Thai tourist visa that is stuck/pasted on your passport. For tourism, it is required to get a Thailand tourist visa for many nationalities. It is issued by the Thai embassy or consulate in your country. A Thailand sticker visa is required for those who want to get a longer stay in Thailand.

Types of visa available for Indians to visit Thailand.
There are two options available for Indians to visit Thailand from India on a Tourist visa:
Applying for Tourist Visa from the Thai embassy or consulate is well-known as a sticker visa.
Thailand e visa for Indian.

Where to submit a Thailand sticker visa application in India?
In India, the Thailand embassy doesn’t take any visa applications directly. VFS Global is the official partner of the Embassy of Thailand in India. So, you must take an appointment first to submit your Thailand sticker visa application to VFS global nearest center.

A step-by-step guide to apply for a Thailand sticker visa in India.
Step 1: Find the nearest VFS Global center and Identify the visa type.
You can refer to our above list or visit the official link to find the nearest VFS Global center.
To check your visa identification or the types of visa you are required to travel to Thailand, firstly, visit the link to apply for a visa. Scroll down the page then click on “view more” and visa type.
Step 2: Select your nearest location
Select the nearest embassy or consulate location where you want to submit your visa application.
Step 3: Select your visa type
After clicking on the location you have to select your visa type. If you’re going to apply for a tourist visa select a tourist visa there.
Step 4: Download the Thai visa application form
Once click on “Download The Thailand Applications Forms” you can download the Thai visa application form. Thai visa application form you can also download here. After downloading the Thai visa application fill out the form.
Step 5: Book your appointment
For booking an appointment, simply click the link “book an appointment” and then click on the “Book Now” button.
Step 6: Login on VFS Global website
If you have already an account with VFS Global then log in with your registered email id and password. Otherwise, click on “I don’t have an account” to create an account.
Step 7: Choose the visa type for appointment booking
Fill in your appointment details like your visa application center, your appointment category (Ex. Short Term), and your sub-category (Tourist). Once you select your all options, you can see the earliest appointment date. If you want to get that date or another date just click on “Continue”.
Step 8: Your details
After clicking on continue you’ll get a form, where you have to fill in your all personal details like your name, passport details and etc.
Step 9: Book your appointment
After clicking on continue you’ll get a calendar to book an appointment. Available appointments are with a green color square box, select the date according to your schedule. Once you select your date at the bottom select your time.
Step 10: Additional services
In this section, you’ll be asked to get additional services like a premium lodge, SMS and etc. If you need any then select otherwise click on continue.
Step 11: Review an application
After clicking on continue, you can review your application. If you feel the filling details are correct then select the check box for terms and conditions and click on the “Pay Online” button.
Step 12: Payment
Once you click on the “Pay Online” button, you’ll get a new page for payment. On the payment page select your payment modes like net banking, UPI, credit card, or debit card, and fill in all your details accordingly.
After successful payment, you’ll get a confirmation appointment message on your screen. Additionally, you’ll get an email on your registered email address. On the appointment, date Bring your passport, booking appointment letter, and documents along with you for the Thai visa application.
This payment doesn’t include your visa fees. Visa fees you have to once you arrive ate VFS Global center on the day of your appointment.

Thailand sticker visa fees for Indian is INR 2,500 with a Single entry and INR 12,000 with multiple entry.
Thailand sticker visa validity.
The validity of the Thailand visa is issued in two categories. However, the validity of the Thailand visa with a single entry is 3 Months and multiple is 6 months.
Thailand sticker visa length of stay.
With the single entry visa you can stay up to 60 days and with multiple, you can stay 60 days with each entry. That means even with multiple you cannot stay more than 60 days in Thailand.
Where I can pay the Thailand visa fee?
On the appointment day at the VFS global center, you have to pay your visa fees.
Thailand sticker visa processing time.
The processing time for a Thailand tourist visa is 4 working days. If additional documents or verification of the submitted documents is required, there will be a further delay in the above processing time. The date of travel should be at least seven working days from the date of application at the Thai Visa Application Centre.

Hotel Booking Thailand –
- The stay of the hotel or hostel in Thailand reservation documents should be a confirmation from the hotel or hostel, not from the travel agency. You can visit our page to see how to reserve a hotel without paying.
- A hotel reservation confirmation letter should be printed in color and on one page.
- Check-in/out dates must be cleared on that page.
Flight Tickets –
- Your name must be on the tickets accordingly to your passport for example your first and last name.
- The ticket should be confirmed and printed in a color copy of the e-ticket.
Bank Statement –
- The last transaction of your bank statement should not be older than 7 days when you submit your application.
- The name and digits must be clear.
- Bank statements should be attested by the bank.
- Statements from net banking should not be accepted.
- If the account statement is a copy of the bank passbook, it must be verified by the bank and the original passbook must be submitted with the visa application.
Passport size photos –
You have required two passport-size photos while submitting your application. Passport size photo must be:
- The size of the photo must be 3.5 x 4.5 cm.
- It should be recent (not older than 3 months).
- The should be a white background.
- For a person who always wears white clothes for religious purposes, the photographs can be taken with a light blue background.
- Photo with face visible should be more than 70-80%.

Funds required for a Thailand sticker visa.
You must have at least USD 700 (equal to almost INR 56000) in your bank account when you’re going to submit your visa application. On the other hand, we recommend you keep at least USD 1500 (equal to almost INR 12000) in your bank account to avoid refusal.
